We offer ceilidhs (barn-dances) for a wide variety of events. In England and Wales it is common to use a dance ‘caller’, who will lead the dancers through the moves and make sure the event runs to time, co-ordinating with the organisers on the night.
A good caller will tailor the dance choices to the level of the dancers so that everyone feels included whatever their age. Great fun for all the family.
Band leader, Ben Farmer, has been calling dances for fifteen years for a variety of bands and often calls whilst playing with Price of My Pig, however other callers may be available if you would prefer. Contact us to discuss your preferences.
The band provides the thrilling music and groove to dance to as well as some musical interludes whilst the dancers take an occasional breather.
